Gina Le Faux has been playing traditional dance music for most of her life. The last pupil of the late James Carmichael of Ballymena, traditional fiddle player and singer, Gina combines her own flair and skill with a great understanding of the skills of traditional fiddle playing passed down from generations past.
An experienced teacher, Gina gives one-to-one tuition in fiddle and mandolin from her base in Sowerby Bridge near Halifax, West Yorkshire. She has also been a tutor for many workshops and camps including Folkworks, Hands on Music, the Yorkshire Dales Workshop and Folk South West’s Easter School in Bath.
Gina’s teaching philosophy is all about enjoying the music and bringing out the inner musician in you! All ages and abilities are welcome. To find out more or to book a lesson, get in touch.
