About
Gina Le Faux is a highly respected musician who has spent a lifetime perfecting her skills on fiddle, mandolin and guitar. Born in Liverpool, she has performed all over the world and is now based in West Yorkshire. Since she was a teenager, Gina has been singing and playing traditional tunes and songs as well as her own compositions. She has played, toured and recorded with many top musicians including Dave Swarbrick, John Kirkpatrick, Martin Simpson and Sam Lee, to name but a few.
Gina has released seven solo albums. Her most recent outing, In My Life, includes eight original compositions as well as songs by Hank Williams and the Lennon/McCartney title track. It also features her version of the beautiful traditional song Kellswater. Guest appearances by Martin Simpson, Andy Cutting, Hugh Bradley and Keith Angel complement Gina’s lilting vocals and exquisite guitar and fiddle playing.
